Back To The Past long-tail boat tour

Yearning for a day of escape from the bustling city streets of Pattaya? Hop on our minibus and after just a one hour drive you will find yourself in paradise! We present to you our amazing Back To The Past long-tail boat day tour that will bring you back in time and will show you the original Thailand. A truly unique holiday-experience!

Discover original Thailand in a long-tail boat

After the minibus ride from Pattaya / Jomtien you will arrive at one of the local temples in the Province of Samut Prakan. Here you will enter the long-tail boat that will cruise you through the countless numbers of canals, locally known as klongs, which are found here.

Take a breath of the fresh air and appreciate the calm waters as you pass by the rice fields and remote old Thai villages and watch the locals live their daily lives surrounded by the water. Many of the local people run their own frog farms in front of their houses and you will see the people swimming in the canals in search of all kinds of food the water has to offer.

Nature lovers and birdwatchers can indulge themselves in these surroundings. Monitor lizards and snakes are very common in this area as well as some smaller animals. The diversity in (water) plants and flowers is enormous and you will see many different species of birds, from colorful songbirds to groups of storks.

Another thing to look forward to is a visit to a several hundred years old local market, built right on the water, where you will be offered a local Thai lunch. Afterwards you can wander around and soak up the atmosphere; you will not see any other tourists here!

After the second part of the boat trip we will return to the temple where the minibus is waiting to take you back to the hustle and bustle of Pattaya.

Depending on the water level we can make some stops where you will enter the main land. Among other things you will see the rice fields from close by and get acquainted with the concept of prawn farms.

Ready for a new adventure? Pack your things and see Thailand like never before!
